A day’s wanderings

One of my students told me she was looking for perfume for herself (with apple), and her daughter (with vanilla) so I went past Sephora to put some Kayali perfumes (Juicy Apple and also Vanilla) on paper for her to try. I did not expect to fall in love with the Vanilla Coco. It is light and smells really nice.

I saw this absolutely gorgeous clock outside a watch shop in a fancy part of town. It was spectacular.

I loved the frog

This miniature shop was part of the building of the larger version. It even has the same signs in the windows as the actual shop. The window displays change over time too. The shop custom-makes clothes for each customer.

They also had a pot of flowers made from offcuts.

This sign says ‘maybe you will live to be very old. But you will always be the same person‘. So true. It is an advert for pension advice.

I regularly teach at a very fancy workplace. Their office material for employees and maybe guests, are PARKER pens. I normally end up using a cheap plastic pen that refuses to write. These were so luxurious and the ink just flowed.

And on my travels I found some M2 inserts. They are dated 2002. I generally make the holes bigger and use them in my pocket organiser for small notes. But I do like the M2 size. I wish it was easier to find.

I also stocked up on Clinique Dramatically Different Moisturiser at a 30% discount, used a $5 points voucher and received a gift with purchase. These sizes are nice for travel, and the lipstick is my favourite Black Honey.
