I tried the black Uniqlo Round Mini Shoulder Bag for a few days, and really loved it. It is not big enough to hold everything I need for work, but for weekends it is perfect. It leaves both hands free and holds everything I need (keep your eyes out for a What’s in my Bag post soon)
Uniqlo self-scanning checkouts are SOOOO easy to use. They take very little work because if you place your shopping basket or items in this ‘bin’, it scans all the tags automatically. There are radio frequency identification (RFID) readers inside the checkout machines, which automatically read hidden RFID chips embedded in price tags. No scanning items individually or looking up prices. No figuring out where the scanning wand or screen is. Easy peasy!
I treated myself to a little embroidered tuxedo cat because I thought it was sooooo cute!
You can have almost 100 machine-stitched designs on Uniql items. In addition, my nearest Uniqlo does custom designs and repairs on items bought at Uniqlo.
I spoke to the designer and tailor and he said cats were the most popular (I was surprised at that), closely followed by sakura, dogs, and the Japanese-themed designs.
These are the ones I liked, particularly E-8, which would look stunning on the brown or dark orange corduroy version of this bag.
