Stockholm had a Cycle in Tweed day on Saturday

I saw this shampoo and conditioner in a shop. I had a chuckle at how they have unapologetically copied the hugely popular Monday haircare range.

A local shopping mall has a place where you can leave things you no longer use for others to pick up. There were slim pickings on Saturday but I imagine things go quickly.

This (rather hideous I thought) bag in a local thrift store brought back such wonderful memories for me. In the 1970s maternal grandmother used to crochet sun hats and beach bags for her ten grandchildren from plastic bags. I have amazing memories of all our brightly coloured hats and bags hanging on hooks in the hallway of the family seaside cottage, waiting for us to grab them for our daily trips to the beach. We would be out on the beach all day by ourselves, home for a dinner and then straight to bed. Seems that Granny was ahead of her time in the environmental game. Those bags and hats lasted forever and prevented lots of waste.

I have never heard of this style of jeans before. I wonder if it is a narrow ‘carrot leg’ (another name that makes me giggle)?

These clever tables and chairs are outside a local eatery
